Jack Shapiro

Jack is one of our most senior designers, but to market him a designer would be cutting him short. Jack's experience stretches from Project Manager to Information Architect, to Usability and he has partnered him with many companies in need of re-branding, reorganization and growth through effective media. Jack brings to the table expert usability and information architecture, specifically involving web architecture. He offers bold, creative leadership that consistently establishes his clients as industry leaders.


He has developed numerous CD-ROM's and Internet sites for both training and marketing objectives for multiple clients including the Department of Transportation, Saab USA, Thompson Financial, EMC and Sepracor. He led the technical marketing division of EMC's engineering department, where under his guidance he developed a multi-layered, multi-threaded marketing strategy that realized a 90 million dollar increase in sales per month for the company.
Jack has worked with numerous clients in developing videos, animation, CD-ROM's, Internet sites and print collateral amongst others. He has developed instrumental strategies that focused on delivering fluid and dynamic data to a fast paced population. In addition, Jack has co-developed IntelliCasting; an online education/sales application that allows for the control of full-frame full-motion video on a narrowband dial-up, polling, questionnaires, 3D models and dynamic PPT slides, this product is patent pending http://www.intellicasting.net


Jack also holds a co-patent in the algorithmic sequencing of Compton X-ray scattering used exclusively by the U.S. Government including the Department of Defense and Treasury - this sequencing has been in use for more than seven years at major hot-spots globally.

Education:
"Jack attended the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated with a degree in Fine Art. Along with this he attended Brown University studying physics and sociology. Jack is also self-taught with a variety of software languages including HTML, JavaScript, ASP, XML, Lingo, VRML, Visual Basic, and SQL. He has also taught Photoshop, 3D-max, After Effects, Macromedia Director and Flash for a number of years. In addition, he served as a non-commissioned officer in the operations intelligence corps for the army and received an honorable discharge in 1988."

Todd Sabelli

Todd is an experienced web designer with expertise in designing and implementing web sites, user interfaces, and information architecture. At a web development and IT consulting firm, Todd redesigned user-interfaces and web sites with the Creative Director. Later, in corporate communications he worked with Fortune 500 clients building newsletters, interactive, Flash based tutorials, calculators, and other products. Additional design experience includes composing imagery for magazine ads, posters and other marketing collateral.

Todd studied photography at Rhode Island School of Design and has a Masters
degree in Italian Literature.


Michael Ferrier

Mike has been interested in art, computers, and the combining of
the two, for as long as he can remember. In high school he published his
first computer game, "Tank Combat" for the Amiga, in Compute magazine. A few
years later DevWare published his cinematic 'morphing' software, "Cocoon".
After illustrating several issues of the comic book "Tapestry" for Superior
Junk Comics, he worked as a game programmer at Turbine Entertainment for 4
years, helping to create the multiplayer game "Asheron's Call". He's now
working with Advanced Web Hosting as a programmer, using Flash, Php, Java,
JavaScript, MySQL, and HTML to bring web pages to life.

Craig Devonshire

Craig has been involved with Web development, digital media and interactive
CD-Rom projects for pharmaceutical, medical and technology clients since
1995. His previous experience includes having been a founder and President
of Corporate Visions and Manhattan Communications Resources Inc, two computer graphics/design communications companies in Washington, DC and New York City.

Clients included: Chase Manhattan Bank, Bendix Aerospace, Lever Brothers,
Intercontinental Hotels, Bear Stearns, McKinsey Consulting, Sloan-Kettering
Memorial Cancer Center, HBO, Upjohn Pharmaceuticals, United Way,
Backer-Spielvogel, Lintas Advertising, Insurance Institute for Highway
Safety, the Office of Naval Intelligence and the Pentagon among others.

For five years, he was also Manager of Creative Services for Strategic
Planning Associates (now Mercer Consulting), a management consulting firm
with offices in Washington DC, London and Singapore .

As our Vice President of New Media, Craig's marketing and business management career is well enhanced with a number of years on the creative/design front. Prior to having been Promotion Art Director for Playboy Enterprises in Chicago, he was Art Director for National Educational Television in New York, where he worked on several Emmy Award-winning shows.

He teaches an extensive variety of computer-related design and communications
courses at Rhode Island School of Design, Mass College of Art as well as many
other institutions. These courses cover Internet design and theory, digital
graphics applications, and the most widely used professional design and image
software programs.

Craig graduated from The Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in graphic
design.
